If you have tried to sign in over the last day or so and it has not worked, I am sorry.
Here is what happened. Our older website came under a wave of automated sign-in attempts, hundreds a minute. That traffic found a slow, ageing page, and the database could not keep up.
We have shut that traffic out and taken sign-in offline while we fix the underlying slowness properly, rather than patching over it. It is part of a bigger move we were making anyway, off the old setup and onto something faster.
Nothing has happened to your school's work, and it being the summer holidays is the one piece of luck in all this. If you need anything at all in the meantime, email us and we will sort it.
