A funded programme for schools in Bedfordshire

We’re looking for two primary schools in Bedfordshire to take part in a new programme called Every Voice.

This is a one year programme which will provide training and support to a small group of Year 5 / 6 pupils at risk of social exclusion. This programme supports the pupils to boost wellbeing and engagement with school.

They will be supported to set up and lead our digital tool - the Class Meeting Tool - which organises simple, quick class meetings involving every pupil. By finding questions to ask, setting up the tool and analysing involvement and supporting social action. Here’s an example of the tool and here’s a video of how it used.

This approach has been delivered in London, funded by the Mayor, and draws upon our charity’s work in supporting 360 schools nationwide.

We are bringing this project to Bedfordshire from January 2020 and will keep a close eye on the pandemic in case we want to deliver the programme digitally.
